Re-Turn project partnership consists of 12 partners from 7 CE countries
Partners were selected based on competences and their implementation capacity. Political discussion has to be strongly supported by research organizations as the problem of returning migrants in transnational context has never been touched in the form foreseen for the Re-Turn project.






Re-Turn project partnership consists of 12 partners from 7 CE countries (DE, AT, IT, PL, CZ, SI, HU) representing regional and subregional public and not-for-profit bodies (3 public authorities, 1 association of public authorities, 3 qualification and training organizations), research organizations (2 universities and 2 research institutes) and 1 international organization lobbying for migration issues. The project consortium is strengthened by associated public authorities.

IFL - Leibniz-Institut für Länderkunde

TThe Leibniz Institute for Regional Geography (Leibniz-Institut für Länderkunde - IfL) pursues original research on the regional geography of Germany and Europe and publishes geographical information for a broad readership.
The Institute is supported by the Federal Republic of Germany and the Free State of Saxony. It is the only non-university research institute for geography in Germany. Together with 85 other non-university scientific research institute and services, is a member of the Leibniz Association.

Saxony-Anhalt is one of 16 member states of the Federal Republic of Germany. It was first established as one of the new East German federal states in October 1990. The state capital and seat of government is Magdeburg. There is the seat of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs Saxony-Anhalt too. The VSBI was founded in 2005 and has actually 15 employees with sociological, social-pedagogical and administrative professions in Thuringia, Saxony-Anhalt and Saxony. The VSBI e.V. was founded to test and evaluate new concepts of services that guarantee the inclusion of people with different disablilities (mental, learning, physical). Activities of the VSBI are also the organizing and providing of LLL-Activities in a non-formal and informal way, organizing young people and senior citizens to be active in civil society, rural and spatial planning in regions with demographic challenges.
